Sol Matting he lied a-sleeping,

When the fire took place in the deck-room
The night the Bicera burned dowil.

The City St. Louis did answer

When she left St. Louis
She had five hundred men;
When she got to New Mattick
She hadn't but a hundred a@d teu.

The Bicera was a fine boat.

O! Sol Molting he whooped and he hollered,
Sol Molting he hollered so strong;
When the fire took place in the deck-room
Poor Sol Molting was gone.

The "Bayou Sara" was the queen of the Anchor Line fleet of river boats;
It burned completely at the dock on December 5, 1885.
