Whoops, I have mixed up two songs in my general excitment. "Saints delight" has no relation to "Green Pastures" exept for being a wonferful old hymn. I better add "Saints Delight here and slink away: SAINTS DELIGHT (By Isaac Watts in 1709) When I can read my title clear To mansions in the skies, I'll bid farewell to every fear And wipe my weeping eyes. Chorus: I feel like, I feel like, I'm on my journey home; I feel like, I feel like, I'm on my journey home. Should earth against my soul engage, And fiery darts be hurled, Then I can smile at Satan's rage And face a frowning world. (CHO) Let cares like a wild deluge come, Let storms of sorrow fall; So I but safely reach my home, My God, my heaven, my all. (CHO) There I shall bathe my weary soul, In seas of heavenly rest, And not a wave of trouble roll, Across my peaceful breast. (CHO) It's a good thing I don't go deer hunting no more!
