Thanks for the notes Jerry & Steve. We all appreciate the incredible hard work you and the rest of the committee did to put this all together. After reading your discussion about why the site was chosen, I think most of us agree with you - it was the perfect location and you made the right decision. I will show up wherever and whenever you decide to do another one! I am sure that attendance will increase as more people become aware of how good this event was and how promising future festivals will be. This past weekend is something that will stay with me for a long time to come! As you said Jerry it was an artistic success, and even more importantly, it was a success for the folk community. Pinewoods has kept traditional music alive and well in the NYC area, even when the singer-songwriter movement was laying claim to the words "folk music". You've also shown that this music is not a museum piece but a living tradition. You give those of us who are trying to help perpetuate the music encouragement and inspiration. Thank you again!!! Ron
