Angus, if you're going down to the Homestead Pickin Parlor, get some Neal & Leandra (several CDs on Redhouse). Another littleknow fine duo is Wilson & McKee out of Montana. Chuck Suchy from North Dakota writes some great songs about rural America. I don't recall if anyone has mentioned a couple Canadians, James Keelaghan and Connie Kaldor both fine writers and singers. Also check out Chuck Brodsky and Lucy Kaplansky. I will probably think of more folk impurities later. rich r
