Thread to discuss the trials and tribulations of George Best, gifted soccer player in the late sixties and seventies. Has battled against alcoholism for much of his life. Imprisoned for it (drink driving) and recently had a new liver transplant. Best now aged 57 has been left alone by his beautiful wife Alex (31) when it was disclosed that he was fraternising with another woman. He has a new book out later this month.
