Retired chemist, spent 31 years after getting a Ph.D. working in industry working first on tires, then agricultural chemicals (natural pesticides, made in a fermentation tank isntead of a chemical factory) and finally on germicides and disinfectants. Retired a little early and unexpectedly. . . and have now concluded that I am Retired and not simply Unemployed. I did some tutoring last year and THAT was fun and may try to get back to it as school starts. Playing lots of music with the Well Tempered String Band (q.v.)and with friends, "specializing" in the Carter Family and Charlie Poole.
