I tried the Elixir but found them a bit like playing a non stick frying pan. kept sliding past the stop point. Still I guess you get used to them and they sounded OK. I also like to use Dean Markley light gauge but they are so difficult to get hold of. They really give a nice accoustic folk sound (what ever that is!) to my guitars.
