You're so right about the empty seats. Very frustrating. Sooz is right in that the vast majority of attendees at any event in Gainsborough are from out-of-town, even out-of-county (thanks to you for making the effort!). It's even more off-urinating because the most common moan we hear from Gainsborough's Finest is that there's "nowt to do in this effin' town". None are so blind as they who will not see.

However, if the 140-or-so who came enjoyed the concert, that's good. I know I did.

Just a comment about John campbell Munro - I'd lay my pension on his excess volume problem, (both instrumental and vocal) lying firmly in the hands of the gentlemen in the sound-booth. Perhaps if they'd concentrated more and talked less.............
