Well, well, well. After telling people on Mudcat about my new website, I find that someone has hacked into my account and deleted it. Some sick mind objected to it for political reasons, it seems. I don't suspect any Mudcat regulars (probably a lurker), but I wonder if anyone else has had this happen to them, and whether there is any way to recover the information which I have lost.

I just looked at the server and they say that if a file is deleted it's gone for good. Is this true? Is there no backup?

Any and all responses would be appreciated. I have already contacted the server.
