The report I read from AP (with accompanying pictures)showed the girl to be very upset at this. There are photos of her running out of the ceremony in tears. "I don't want to marry, I am choosy and I have refused several marriage partners my parents presented to me," is a quote. The story also said that the bridesmaids chanted slogans against the grooms. The bride went through with the ceremony but was also heard to say "what marriage?" after the ceremony ended. It appears that in this culture, like all cultures, youth do rebel against traditions.
