I just happened to mention this thread to my daughter and she immediately started singing UNDER THE BOARDWALK by the Drifters. "From the park you hear the happy sound of a carousel Mm-mm, you can almost taste the hot dogs and French fries they sell Under the boardwalk, down by the sea,yeah On a blanket with my baby is where I'll be" I was surprised that I hadn't thought of it, and that it wasn't mentioned.
