"Blue Ridge Music Trails," University of North Carolina Press (USA), by Fred Russell, 2003. UNC, PO Box 2288, Chapel Hill, NC 27515-2288. "... Highlights 160 venues and events, ...workshops, insturment makers, jams, festivals ....with directions, maps, contacts, etc.... bluegrass, stringband, ballad singing, shape-note, gospel singing, clogging, etc.. ISBN 0-8078-5459-X.
One of my fantasys is to get the camper, load it with insturments, get some cash, and disappear in the mountains for a year or two, just hitting all of these festivals. and jams. To do this, I needed a trip manual, with maps, contacts, etc. This is it!!!
Great material. I paid about $12.00 for it at Amazon.
