Many years ago, I worked with Jack at Hawker Siddeley Aviation pn Greengate in Middleton. When my wife and I got married we bought a house in Smithy Bridge, about a 15 min walk from the Fishermans. We moved to Canada in 1977 and still keep in touch with Jack and Mavis. Sometime back (many years and far too long ago)they visited Canada and somewhere in my collection of tapes I have a recording of Jack doing the Phantom in our kitchen. I guess that is my claim to fame. So VIN, next time Jack pops into the Joiners, tell him John and Tina say Hi and we hope to see them next year as we will be in England for a long vacation. JohnB
