Little did you know when you posted this thread that you gave me the excuse to retell a tale I first heard in Cardiff in the 1960s:
The scene a lecture on Observation in Forensic Medicine.
Lecturer (in rich S.Wales Valleys voice):Today's lecture is about observation in forensic medicine. I have three samples of urine here: The first is from a 13-year old virgin from Roath, we had trouble finding one. You'll see if you dip your finger in like this and taste: that it is slightly sweet to the taste. The second is from a more experienced married woman from Llanishen: that is not so sweet to the taste and is slightly darker. The third is from a sixty year old whore from Splott. You can see it is very dark and very bitter to the taste. Now I'll pass the samples round for you all to try.
Students look, taste, gag, spit, spew, hubbub, hubbub.
When order is restored the lecturer says:
Today's lecture was about observation. If you'd watched carefully you would have seen I dipped the first finger in but licked the second finger!
