BO in KY 'Lute Harp' anybody? (6) 'Lute Harp' anybody? 18 Nov 03

I was just checking out the instruments on e-Bay and saw a "Lute Harp" for sale. I've never seen or heard of such a thing. It looks rather like a Victorian "parlor" instrument, probably more for decoration than music, but I was wondering ... anybody own/play one of these, or have heard one played? I'm guessing that it might be a cheaper or more portable way to learn to play the harp, if the tone is halfway decent.
