It's a dilemma isn't it? We don't have too many choices. 1. We can just not sing the songs and lose some good songs. I know many songs that I don't sing because they are insulting to a certain group of people. (e.g. songs from "The Exit Visa") 2. We can change a word or phrase so that we don't offend people. I sing one or two of these, just changing a word or omitting a verse here and there. ("I'm glad we had a nice quiet day")3. We can sing them regardless of who we hurt. I'm just not going to do that.
