Personally I never found him very funny and couldn't forgive him for supporting Thatcher but he certainly was good at what he did if you like that sort of humour. Sample joke on the radio tonight. "My wife made me hire a chauffeur and a cook. I told her 'If you'd learn to make a meal I could fire the cook.' She said 'if you learnt to make love you could fire the chauffeur'
