Come prepared to camp and if you have a cooler and a campstove, so much the better. It would be much too hard to tear yourselves away to a motel even if there was one. There is Baxter State Park just up the road. Some folks stay there though I'll bet it's booked already. We camp up near the water tower (see Pete's directions) and find it a more laid back area. Ask around for Tish and Chip and you'll find us. Down the hill to the right is pretty intense! "A great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there." Clifftop can't be described.
