I'm delighted to see that catters continue to dip into Latin questions from time to time. Lingua haud mortua est. (the language is not dead!) Re "wherever it leads" -- Off the top of my head I'd think that "quocumque" (masculine or neuter) would be better for "wherever" than "quacumque" (feminine). ("Quo vadis" means "where are you going?", and the suffix "-cumque" is similar to -soever.) Also I think that rather than "quocumque duceat" OR "ducebit", a Roman might say something like, "veritam sequar, ad quidquid finem" -- I shall follow truth to whatever end.
