You've got it right. There were only two recordings. Both on the Tradition label based in Macclesfield. I thought he was tremendous. Apart from his serious side he could be hilarious and stood up in comparison to all the other funnies at the time, Capstick, Harding, Williamson etc. I still croak "Garners Gay" on occasions which I first heard from him. "I Live not Where I Love". Had a brilliant night once in the Bush in Hyde.
