Thanx Joe ...don' t know bout the printer problem but i suspect it's a result of Microsoft policy to get rid of DOS - for example there are drivers on the w95 cdrom for my hp printer BUT no dos drivers - here's the catch hp supplies drivers but on 5" not 3" disk- so I am screwed. Sharing Violation is a weird one - have any other thoughts?
