It's a great competition! However I am constantly put off entering because I don't play an instrument (not well enough to enter a competition like that!) but I do sing. I sometimes find that unacompanied singing, unless done in harmony, is not particularly popular. The problem is that the people I sing in harmony with consist of my mother and sister, at 50+ my mother is just a little too old to enter. AAh well, back to the whistle practice!
