I would like to thank you all so much. I can't tell you how important Mudcat is to me and getting to know you all. Sandy, I'm grateful to you for your interest in offering to carry some of my CD's. I put Harvey (my producer) in touch with you and you should be hearing from him. I am more grateful to you for you and Caroline offering such great music, for Folk-Legacy and all the wonderful work you've done for folk music.

Art, thank you so much for fine music that you have offered us over the years. I'm honored to be able to talk to you guys in this forum as well as the rest of y'all. (Since I'm living in Georgia for 14 years, I have earned the right to say 'y'all' I think, although some natives round here might disagree with me). I love the version of the steamboatin' song about "Egypt". It's a variant, I think, of Uncle Dave's song, "When The Train Comes Along".

Kat, I hope that my stories will be interesting to you. I'll try not to go on and on. To me, stories and music are about sharing and that's what makes this list so important.

Spaw, I hope you like it after all this hullabaloo about it. Of course I'm honored to have my dear friends offer their comments in my press release. Hope I've done the music justice. Thank you for your kind words and I value your contributions to the Cat as well.

Dani, I appreciate the suggestion. Thanks.

Barry, I am just like you guys. I love the music and that's what counts. Hope you think I did it justice.

It was a labor of love for me and the first time I've recorded in about thirty years. It all happened on-line. I met Harvey again after asking questions about how to produce a home CD on rec.music.audio. Harvey and I go back to the Ash Grove where he was the sound and lighting man for the acts there. He remembered me from that time (1960's) and said anytime I wanted to record, his studio was open to me. We e-mailed back and said "When and where?" So we got in our car and went to Texas. He lives close to Denton where Sam Bass used to hang out. Harvey lives close to the Old Chisholm Trail as well.

The internet is amazing! Sorry to ramble on. Thank y'all so much.

Frank Hamilton
