Basicly, it's a place to encourage musicians and promote old music. The local dulcimer, autoharp, old-time, bluegrass' string band, etc. clubs could meet there, if they wanted to. Lessons would be (and are now) free at the jams. I already have Thursday night and Monday night jams (average attendance about 40 each). These are at a church and community center. It would be a musicians hangout, with checkers, a coffee pot, and lots of fellowship. No $3.00 coffees or anything that the average kindergartener couldn't grasp. I'm trying to contact Saga, Harris-Teller, and Kaman now. How about Johnson instruments? Are they another Saga line? I have an arrangement up the street, on the main highway, in the historic district to do outdoor concerts. Anyone have phone numbers for Deering, Saga, Harris Teller, and Kaman? Thanks!!!
