I've often wondered about the use of the words: "Howling at the moon" when used in lyrics. Sometimes it is obviously used to show the action of animals, the four legged kind but when it is used with respect to relationships between humans I am unclear. What do you think the songwriter is saying? And, if you would like, give an example. Thanks Ellen
