It's not New York, but awful close -- try reaching out to Red Bank Regional High School in Monmouth County, NJ. It's a magnet school for the visual and performing arts (my daughter's in the program), and their choir is damn good (and that's probably an understatement). The voice teacher and choir director is Kris Zook, and you can probably track him down easily through the school's web site: http://www.redbankregional.k12.nj.us And, apart from damn good, their rep is also very eclectic.
