Now St Pat's day is over the new season will soon be upon us. Sunday is the 21st of March, the first day of Spring. So by any logic (mathematical or otherwise), its the first Sunday of spring, thus in the words of Tom Lehrer's amazingly brilliant song:-
"Spring is here, Spring is here,
Life is skittles, life is beer,
There is one thing that makes life complete for me,
And makes every Sunday a treat for me......"
How will you start the season? Have you coated your peanuts? Is the laboratory ready for those whith which you wish to experiment? Are members of the Audubon Society (or in our case the RSPB) quaking with much anxiety? Enjoy, but always remember please, BE PREPARED! and the world will be in-tune on a spring afternoon!
