I have been an MC at the Takoma Park Folk Festival for many years, and my memories of that festival will forever be linked to my rememberances of Lenore. I see her now, in a Festival tee-shirt, clipboard in hand, as she pauses to say a word of welcome, or encouragement, or thanks, as she makes her way around the site.
We have lost a generous, hardworking, lovely soul, whose passion for dance and music manifested itself in countless hours of work in order to promote, preserve and share that passion with her community.She will be missed.

My deepest sympathies go to her husband, Larry, and their two children, as well as to the rest of her family and friends.
