The thread starts with G-silver citing a Steeleye song as fave. Made me remember that twas their 'Please to See the King' album that got me into folk in the first place! Fave song? That's too tough a call! But that riff on 'Female Drummer' that Steeleye did - that's a real hook! And that version of 'Blacksmith' Then I trawl their albums and think - yeah! 'Parcel of Rogues' That's it! Then there's yet another I think of - like their 'When I was on Horseback' . So it goes on - and that's just in their catalogue! Then there's Nic Jones! 'Canadee-I-O' - and others - arrrrgh! SO MANY! Brain overload! Help!!!!!!!!!!
