A long time ago i heard this song, and was asked if i knew it lately. I remember it started something like In the year of 45, when pat murphy was alive".... And goes on to tell how he married a widow who led him a dogs life, untill one day he was " Fiddlin with the gun, And the widow began to run, and ends with the line "she's been slavin now for 30 years or more." Might not get back to check this thread till tomorrow, but any further help on the lyrics will be appreciated, Ta Catters!
