I wear socks with sandles and the reason before anyone says anything rude and just daft is because I have sweaty feet, and during the hot weather the sweat like nothing on earth, and then they stick to the leather insole of the sandle(bare feet) so that's why I wear socks with sandles just to make my feet just the wee bit comfortable.

And I'm not English either I'm Scottish and proud.
