I enjoyed it mightily; admittedly, the dizzying number of pop cultural allusions aimed squarely at the adult set might be seen as a bit off-putting, but overall it was great fun, I liked it, my kids dubbed it "awesome", and we'll very likely give it a re-view as well. As with the 1st one, I think it would make an excellent date movie, too! And of course, the voice cast was truly stellar---Antonio Banderas' interpretation of Puss in Boots as sort of a cros between Zorro & Inigo Montoya was brilliant, and Jennifer Saunders as the Fairy Godmother was worth the price of admission: two thumbs up!
