Brucie, I can't agree that men and women generally want the same things in all respects: yeah, friends, money, job satisfaction, respect, all that, but a significant enough number want different things from relationships and situations (and interpret situations differently) to say the sexes are different in what they are looking for. "No, actually I don't particularly like the colour of that new outfit" does not mean the same thing as "You are a bad person and I hate you": why should (many) women want it to be so? "Tell me what's wrong" does not mean "I know what's wrong but I'm going to pretend that I don't so as not to admit that it's my fault". Any other guys out there been in this sort of situation? Sitting back and waiting to be lambasted... wr.
