There's also the phenomenon of movies that say things you say. My 7-yr-old son referred to my beer as Dad's precious little root-beers. It became a thing, then it turned up as a line in Dickie Roberts Child Star. There was a line in Ali, same deal, but I can't remember what it was now. Will have to watch that scene again. Also, unconscious quotes. At work I offered the carpet cleaner named Butch, who we called Bootch (as in So tell me Bootch what does it feel like to keel a man? from Pulp fiction) a cup of coffee while he was there working. He got a cup and said Good coffee! You get that gourmet stuff! Also sort of from Pulp fiction. Movie linkages. Last two videos I watched were High Noon, and the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry David does a bit--It's a good thing there weren't answering machines back when the Sheriff was trying to round up a posse. Everybody would be screening.
