6th Whitby and first for 21 years. Lots and lots of excellent music. Lots of incredible young talent. Loved it all. It seems much bigger than it was and lots more people play things. I went to the Gentle session in Middle Earth, packed to the pavement clearly a need for more of them. I also went to the quiet session with Mike?????? in the Rowing club, best session for learners, clearly a need for more like that. I went to some music workshops. With thw exception of the one led by Damien O'Kane it seemed unclear what was to be taught and music was unavailable. Very small gripes about a great festival.
