LOVE the beginning, especially when the strings & woodwinds give way to the brass on "whose broad stripes..." HATE the "B" section ("& the rockets' red glare...") with the strings alone; just TOO sappy! By the way, Freightdawg has a point, that an Olympic victory SHOULD BE an occasion for fanfare... however, for many nations the anthem is more of an "alma Mater" hymn, rather than a military band piece. It's rather cool that the SSB can be done either way.
