heifitz, Where abouts are you in Derbyshire. I live in Derby. I'm a melodeon, concertina and double bass player. What sort of playing are you looking for? My mate Rod (accordion and piano) and I have a band called Stradivarious. Our original fiddler moved down south some time ago and we have series of temporary players but nobody local as a permanent replacement. We played at Sidmouth this year (8 workshops and 5 dances) but aside from festivals we do everything from barn dances to formal scottish dances and period english dances.
