I am very new at all this, but here goes:

1. what is your age range?    Over 21 - under 99

2. gender?    Male

3. Do you have a favorite color?   

    Yes and it is not black, because I understand that black is not actually a color, but the absence of any color.

4. favorite authors/ type of book?   

    I rather fancy that all of my published works are really, really wonderful and would make a perfect gift for any other secret santa to send, but not mine, because I already have a complete set of them.

5. what books have you really been wanting?   Not stamp albums.

6. what type of music do you like?    Not Vera Lynn

7. what cds have you really been wanting?   

    4.5% or better, maturing in 2010 or later, are my preferred certificates of deposit, but I am not that fussy.

8. What movies (vhs is in the price range) have you been wnting?

    I don't have a vhs player any more.    I once had a copy of "Sexy Susan Sins Again Part 3" which was really wonderful, but I think it has been out of print for the last 15 years or so.   

9. what is your t-shirt size?   

    Comfy, but not too big.

10. do you collect anything? if so, what?   

    Collecting strange looks from my neighbors seems to be the "in" thing for me nowadays.    And I also have a nice little box to keep my falling hair in. (Us BaldEagles are NOT noted for having full heads of hair, I can tell you).

11. what are some of your other hobbies?

    Flying an airplane.   Drinking red wine.   Making fun of Martin Gibson and Shambles.   Pretending to be James Bond.   Not having any allergies.

12. do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry?   

    er ....er .... what is gold-tone?    what is silver-tone?    (Some sort of musical thingy-wotsits?   My wife tells me that I am tone deaf, so I suppose it really doesn't matter.)

13. please include anything else you feel is important that would help your secret santa know what you would like   

    I feel that people should try to be nice to one another.   I feel that our future lies in the hands of our children, which is both awe-inspiring and a littel scarey.    I feel that people should vote with their heads, while embracing their political opponents with their hearts.    (Is that enough for now? - please do let me know)
