GUEST,peedeecee BS: Bobert's Vacuum Cleaner Question (78* d) RE: BS: Bobert's Vacuum Cleaner Question 28 Oct 04

My family laughs at me because I have a think for vacuum cleaners (I own five!), but that strange fetish may be of use here. If you can, get a Sharp upright with all the attachments, and ask your vacuum cleaner outlet for an extra hose to use as an extension for dusting, upholstery cleaning, etc. The extra hose attaches directly to the vacuum cleaner hose only when you need it; otherwise, it's put away.

I had one Electrolux for 20 years, and another for 17 (old lady me). Electrolux unfortunately doesn't make a quality item any more, and relies on its former reputation for sales. That can't last much longer.

The Sharp is as good as a Kirby, I found, but costs much less and is much less noisy.

Hope this helps.
