Alan Dershowitz's argument that to criticise the Israeli government is antisemitic has been taken up by ultra right Jews around the world. It has been used to pressure diaspora Jews into fully uniting around an Israeli government that many of them strongly disagree with. Most of the people who live in Israel, who live with the results of government policies and military actions, want to get out of Gaza and other occupied territories. They dont want their children being used as cannon fodder to defend land which has been grabbed in order to fulfil a messianic prophecy.
