I think many of us have given up on Sidmouth for next year. I have read all the posts from Stuart Hughes, Tony Day, John Golightly and all the people who hide behind nom-de-plumes. They all seem very silly and childish. The sniping and name-calling and jockeying for position. So irksome. Let these people play their games. The rest of us will go elsewhere and remember Sidmouth for what it was, a wonderful friendly festival in a gorgeous part of the world, sadly now past and clearly beyond saving. Goodbye. See you at Broadstairs, Cambridge, Cropredy, Wimborne, Gosport, Bromyard, Chippenham and Whitby. But not at Sidmouth.
