Kat-- I am sorry! Sparky sounds like a wonderful guy and it doesn't help today, but as time passes and you can remember the good times, hang on to those times when you can remember the good times! as for his stepfamily-- it was said above, funerals bring out the worst in people as well as the best. Hope you can concentrate on doing & saying things that will help you feel good about yourself in the day they say's to come. even in sadness I am quoting Charlie Poole never thrist Kat PETE
