So sorry, but glad you had lots of time to talk about everything and heal any thing that might have needed healing. I'm sure the other family loved and will miss him, too. You each had different times and have different memories. As others have said you can make your own memorial to him where you want it to be. What they are doing will certainly help them grieve.
