nah, sorry Lizzie, you've still not answered the question - try again - can you give me direct quotes of things from Steve's site that you believe are misinformation or inaccurate in any way?

No I'm not Steve. He's not the only person in the world who wants to ask questions, and I'm sorry you feel that people who care about a festival shouldn't ask questions about the way it is run. I don't ask the same questions of other festivals a) because I don't care about them as much and b) because they don't seem to suffer from as much heated debate and controversy at the moment. If they did, and if I cared enough about them, then I would.

(btw I feel much the same about Whitby - used to be a festival I really enjoyed, it's gone down a route I'm not keen on wrt the type of events & artists booked and the organisers do not seem interested in 'being accountable' to their audience. Their choice.... but I haven't been for the whole week for years and don't care enough about it these days to even be bothered to complain - because they've made it clear that they don't care whether I go or not. I'd be sorry to see Sidmnouth go same way, hence asking the questions in the first place).
