ok I give up. You don't like Steve's site but haven't actually bothered reading it all? You haven't given me a quote of anything from it that you think is inaccurate, you just don't like it on principle because it is asking questions rather than leaping wholeheartedly to the support of the individuals running next years festival? You think it's a waste of his time to have put it together? Fair enough, your perogative. Seems a little mean of you to be so down on him though. There are some who might think that hitting the ! key so many times was also a bit of a waste of time but hey, your choice.

"Ummm.....how can you report the facts about the facts when you don't actually KNOW what the facts are? Surely, the only people who know the REAL facts are those who are organising the very facts that you claim to know the facts about!! " (quote from you, above)

For the most part all Steve's site says is 'don't accept things as facts from anybody without asking a few questions to verify them first' (whether that is Mrs Casey, EDDC, next years organisers, or anybody else for that matter). He's trying to ask some questions. You are happy to accept things from next years organisers as facts without asking questions. Your choice too, just don't expect everybody else to do the same and don't be suprised if people who do want to ask questions get frustrated when they don't get given answers.

ta ta, enjoy yourself next summer, I'm sure you will. I'll be back the year after, probably would be there next year too if I didn't have other commitments. For now I shall go back to lurking, can't see me getting any more sensible dialogue out of this one.
