Hi Woodsie.

Sorry for the delay, I had to find the books.

Kelston round hill is in North Somerset, near Bath.
(For those like me who didn't know).

Hope this comes out all right for you.

KELSTON ROUND HILL

WORDS AND MUSIC BY CHRISTOPHER ROWE

1.

F#m                      E         F#m
Three trees stand on Kel - ston Round Hill,

A                        Bm      E
Sun-light gleams o'er fields so green

A                       F#m Bm                 E7
In those fields ev-'ry day,    two young children play

D                   C#7    F#m
Boy and girl to - geth-er seen.

                    C#                 F#m      E
And the trees stand tall o'er the boy and girl

    F#m         E            F#m
And wel-come the com-ing of spring

2.

Three trees stand on Kelston Round Hill,
Robed in leaves 'neath the summer sky;
Lovers now, hand in hand, stroll together and,
Kiss beneath the trees so high,
And the trees stand tall, giving shade to all
Who rest from the summer sun.

3.

Three trees stand on Kelston Round Hill,
Richly bronzed in the autumn sun;
He has gone far away, he'll come back they say,
When the battle's lost or won.
And the trees stand tall, and the dead leaves fall,
For the brave one's gone to war.

4.

Three trees stand on Kelston Round Hill,
Clad in winter's coat of snow;
Far away there he lies, can she realize,
He is dead, and she must go.
And the trees stand tall, and the wild winds call,
In vain, for there's none to hear.

5.

Three trees stand on Kelston Round Hill,
Seasons come and seasons go;
People live, people die, still the trees reply,
Man was made for joy and woe,
And the trees stand tall, and the shadows fall,
As the sun sets behind the hill.

Best wishes, have a lovely Christmas.

Cattail !
