Mary - the title "Nobody Else But Elsie" rang a bell but that's all. I can't find the words for it on a quick search, but you can find that it was written by Archie Gottler (1896 - 1959) (see Parlor Songs (2/3 way down page) for a brief biog and a reference to the song with date unknown). There's a sheet music copy for sale with at The Sheet Music Warehouse - Nobody Else But Elsie (£7), dated 1932. There is a song at Levy called Elsie From Chelsea with the phrase "there's nobody elsie, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. Mick
