To Dave Osterreich Bonnie wee thing means so much to me too. But the real pathos of a "meaningful" song comes from the person to whom it is preciouys. Dave get the BW to recant and allow you to sing it in public. A song with a special meaning ??? Ever heard of "Auld Lang Syne"???? . You'll never beat that one. special for how many, many generations. Next best after that in my book is "Men of Harlech" sung by the Welsh crowd at a rugby match.
