Thanks for the info. But The Sliabh na mBan as sung in the Deise by Nick Tobin , Labras Draper et al. refers to the DEise uprisng (abortive) of 1798. It is not sung to the same air of the beautiful Cork Gaeltacht air of Cath Ceim an Fhis. Both airs are beutiful and haunting - i theoir own right. Vide An tAth P. Breathnach.
