Bob seemed to have rubbed some people the wrong way in his Village days. I heard some became life-long friends though (Havens included). His voice irritated me when I first heard it, like it did to a lot of people, but then I listened... and I heard. He had 'IT'! He also felt it, which most people DON'T do today.
